As a motion designer I have skills in a variety of areas. I am capable of creating 3D and 2D motion graphics through multiple different softwares. I am most confident working in Adobe After Effects and Autodesk Maya.
As an Illustrator I work in a variety of mediums. Growing up I worked with primarily pencil and pencil crayons but as technology has advanced I have began working with digital art. I have created many illustrations to this day and continue to post my work often on my instagram @leahssketch.
My name is Leah Fellows and I am a designer in Toronto, Canada with a passion for motion graphics! I have skills in 3D modelling, animation, illustrative, typographic and UI/UX work! I am a recent graduate of the York University and Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Design Honors program (YSDN).RESUME
Throughout my journey as a designer I have grown from trying to fit into a box that I believe a designer should be, into an artist who embraces her own style to problem solve and create compelling narratives. I find inspiration in the world around me and use personal experience to shape my conceptual designs and push forward a stronger meaning in my work. Research and accessibility are two of the leading factors that influence most of my design choices as I wish for each user to have the best possible experience when interacting with my work. My consideration for the audience that I am designing for is very important to my conceptual process and I ensure that my designs are not only attractive but also inclusive.
I am an active and energetic individual who enjoys spontaneous adventures and new experiences. In my free time I love playing sports, feeding stray cats, and listening to music! I love learning and am always looking for new skills to pickup! I am fascinated by the world around me and am always excited to hear new stories!
